Travel to Malaysia

My first business trip. Great country to visit, i am surprised with the speed at which they grow. The key company involved in their growth i believe is their energy giant Petronas. Malaysia currently has approximately 13 gigawatts (GW) of electric generation capacity, of which 84% is thermal and 16% is hydroelectric, its an acheivment for the problem they faced initially.

My trip involved a 7 day stay at Kualalumpur attending a trade show, it was a fun filled trip and its amazing to see the growth in 40 years. I visited the normal tourist spots, went to Genting Highlands ( i taught it as Island before i went), Batu caves.

The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old. Some of the cave entrances were used as shelters by the indigenous Temuan people.

Genting Highlands is sometimes informally known as the Las Vegas of Malaysia, dubbed the "City of Entertainment" as it has the only legal land-based casino, Casino de Genting in the country and is run by Genting Malaysia Bhd, a subsidiary of Genting Group.
